Market Square Day 2009
Collected Studio set up shop in downtown Portsmouth for Market Square Day 2009 and what a fun time we had! The weather was a perfect 76 degrees and sunny with a crowd of 60,000 plus people in attendance. Annie and I arrived around 6AM to get things set up and had a steady stream of people filter through from 9 to 4pm. We met lots of terrific people who were very excited and supportive of our artwork. At one point we even had a flock of sorority girls singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” in our booth… don’t ask me how that happened… so all in all it was an interesting and fun filled day. Here are some pics!
Welcome to our shop!
We’ve been busy making all sorts of things with vintage postcards, baseball cards and even pin-up girls.
Annie made this 4 foot canvas covered entirely with baseball card collage!
Ready for Action.
Here they come!

Very serious young customers.
The Yankee’s baseball card toilet seat was a big hit with this Red Sox crowd.
Some small collage art.
Don’t forget a Father’s Day card for Dad!
Baseball card collage trays.
Thanks for stopping by! Much love from Matt and Annie.
That looks like a ton of fun. I would have been thrilled to stumble upon your booth at an art show.
